We advise in various transactions relating to Oil & Gas, including joint ventures, representative sales agreements, contracts for procurement and supply of oil tools and equipment, negotiation of claims for compensation for pollution damage, environmental impact assessment and audits etc.

We engage in all aspects of Corporate and
Commercial Law, including company floatation's, partnership formations,
negotiations and preparation of contracts, assets sales and acquisitions,
employment matters, industrial disputes and international trade.
v MARITIME & SHIPPING LAW
The firm, being located in an environment
straddling two (2) shipping ports at
Port
Harcourt
metropolis and nearby Onne has evolved a growing Shipping Law Practice. It undertakes
preparation of charter-parties, ship management agreements, rendering advice in ship finance
and acquisition, legal aspects of carriage of goods by sea, and general shipping litigation, ship
and cargo insurance disputes.
v FINANCIAL SERVICES
We undertake
work for banks and other financial bodies, and advise on legal aspects of
banking. We engage in sourcing and negotiation
of bank credits for projects and trade finance. We prepare loan agreements,
mortgages, leasing agreements. We engage in
debt recoveries and Insurance Law work. The firm also does work in the area of
Intellectual Property that is to say, patents, designs and trade marks.
v LITIGATION & ARBITRATION
We act as Barristers and have the ability
to deal with all aspects of commercial disputes requiring representing our
clients in all levels of adjudication, from administrative and other tribunals
to the High Courts, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. Our litigation and
conflict resolution practice deals with all issues involving Corporate and
Commercial Law, and other areas of Law herein highlighted. We also represent
foreign clients in actions in Nigerian courts, and act for Nigerian clients
through our associated
U.S. office
and international correspondents to represent them in foreign jurisdictions. In
this regard our solicitors are able to act in recovery of foreign debts
enforcement of foreign judgments in Nigeria and of Nigerian decisions by foreign
courts.
v PRIVATE CLIENTS
We advise private individuals on a range
of matters including, wills, private business affairs, investments, family
matters, disposal and acquisitions of assets, employment problems and defence of
criminal suits.
